The Vision of The National Birth Coalition Nonprofit is to eliminate North Carolina’s crisis of having the highest infant and maternal mortality rates in the country, especially among African American and Indigenous families (BIPOC). To increase access to culturally competent healthcare professionals, improved educational opportunities, provide affordable and respectful care to rural and disadvantaged urban populations, and provide access to the highest quality of Certified and Trained Birth and Postpartum Doulas and independent specialist with services available across North Carolina.
